How do I book an appointment?
All appointments must be booked online. Click here to schedule your slot. Walk-ins are not available at this time.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due on the day of your service.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a new date if proper notice is given.

What happens if I arrive late?
A 10-minute grace period is allowed. After that, your appointment may be shortened, rescheduled, or canceled, depending on availability.

Hair Preparation & Requirements

Should I wash my hair before my appointment?
Yes, please arrive with clean, dry, and detangled hair, as we currently do not offer washing services.

Does my hair need to be blow-dried before braiding?
Blow-drying is not required, but if you prefer it, please request it when booking so we can schedule enough time.

What hair should I bring for my braids or locs?
If you need to bring your own hair, details will be provided upon booking. Otherwise, we offer hair for most styles—just let us know what you need!

Can I come with my hair already sectioned or prepped?
No need to pre-section, but please ensure it is fully detangled to avoid extra time or additional charges.

Braids & Protective Styles

How long do braids last?
Depending on the style and maintenance, braids can last between 4-8 weeks.

How do I maintain my braids?
Keep your scalp moisturized, wear a satin scarf/bonnet at night, and avoid excessive pulling or tension.

What’s the difference between knotless braids and traditional box braids?
Knotless braids start with your natural hair, making them lighter, pain-free, and more natural-looking compared to traditional box braids, which use a tighter knot at the root.

Do you offer braiding styles for men?
Yes! We offer cornrows, twists, and loc styles tailored for men.

Locs & Dreadlocks

Do you install starter locs?
Yes, we offer starter locs using comb coils, two-strand twists, or interlocking methods.

How often should I get my locs retwisted?
Every 4-6 weeks is recommended for maintenance and neatness.

Can I wash my locs after a retwist?
It’s best to wait at least one week before washing freshly retwisted locs.

Do you style existing locs?
Yes! We offer loc styling, barrel twists, and updos in addition to regular maintenance.

Aftercare & General Questions

How can I reduce scalp tension after getting braids?
Apply warm water or scalp oil to ease tightness, and avoid excessive pulling for the first few days.

Do you offer hair treatments for breakage and dryness?
Yes, we offer deep conditioning and moisture treatments for healthy hair growth.

Can I bring my child for braiding?
Yes, but please ensure they can sit comfortably for the duration of the appointment.
