Booking & Appointments
Q: How do I book an appointment?
A : All appointments must be booked online. Click here to schedule your slot. Walk-ins are not available at this time.
Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?
A:Yes, a non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due on the day of your service.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Q: what’s the deadline for cancellation and rescheduling?
A: You can cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours in advance using the change/cancel link at the bottom of your booking confirmation email.
Q: Can I cancel or reschedule via DM?
A: No, cancellations or rescheduling are not valid via DM — please use the booking system link only.
Q: What if I cancel within 48 hours?
A: Cancellations made within 48 hours will incur a 50% charge. Same-day cancellations and no-shows will be charged at the full amount.
Lateness & Attendance
Q: What happens if I’m running late?
A: Please let us know if you’re running late. A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After that, your appointment may be cancelled and treated as a no-show, which is charged at the full amount.
Q: Will my appointment still go ahead if I’m late?
A: If possible, we may shorten your appointment, which could result in a different style than originally planned.
Services & Preparation
Q: Do you provide hair?
A: Yes. Hair extensions are provided at no extra cost. However, at the moment we are only able to provide regular braiding hair and synthetic curly hair for boho braids. Recommendations for hair needed for other styles are available upon request
Q: Does the price change if I bring my own braiding hair ?
A: There is no discount for clients who bring their own extensions as pricing is based on length of time rather than cost of extensions.
Q: What styles do you offer?
A: We specialize in knotless braids, cornrows, stitch braids, loc retwists, and loc styles for both men and women.
Q: Do I need to prepare my hair before my appointment?
A: Yes, please ensure your hair is clean and detangled before your appointment. This helps us work more efficiently and ensures the best results.
Q: Does my hair need to be blow-dried before braiding?
Blow-drying is not required, but if you prefer it, please request it when booking so we can schedule enough time.
Braids & Protective Styles
Q: How long do braids last?
A: Depending on the style and maintenance, braids can last between 4-8 weeks.
Q: How do I maintain my braids?
A: Keep your scalp moisturized, wear a satin scarf/bonnet at night, and avoid excessive pulling or tension. Maintenance needs are different for for each person so always take time to figure out what products and routines work best for you.
Q:What’s the difference between knotless braids and traditional box braids?
A: Knotless braids start with your natural hair, making them lighter, pain-free, and more natural-looking compared to traditional box braids, which use a tighter knot at the root and tend to be much heavier. We currently only offer knotless braiding styles.
Q: Do you offer braiding styles for men?
A: Yes! We offer cornrows, twists, and loc styles tailored for men.
Locs & Dreadlocks
Q: Do you install starter locs?
A: Yes, we offer starter locs using comb coils and two-strand twists. other methods can also be offered upon consultation based on lifestyle needs.
Q: How often should I get my locs retwisted?
A: It is recommended that you get a retwist between every 4-6 weeks in the beginning stages of your loc journey. Once your locs start to mature, you are then able to make adjustments as and when needed based on what your hair needs. please note that your journey will not be identical to someone elses.
Q: Do you style existing locs?
Yes! We are more than happy to work with locs that have previously been maintained elsewhere.
Payments
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: Final payments are preferably made via bank transfer. Details will be given at the end of your appointment.
Cash payments are also available upon request.
Q: Are deposits refundable?
A: Deposits are non-refundable, but in exceptional cases, the business may exercise discretion.

Q: Do you offer children’s services?
A: we don’t currently offer services to anyone under the age of 13. There is no price difference for children’s services.
